There is a spring feeling about today. Very odd for the day after Halloween. The sun shines brightly through bare branches, the grass is green, the sky is blue, and the temperature is quite warm.
Went to kiss my little bugger goodnight last night and smelled peanut butter and chocolate. I. had his candy bag under the covers and was pigging out. After we threw out the wrappers and I impounded his bag, I marched him off to brush his teeth for a second time. Here are the kids in costume. E. was the cutest yellow fluffy duck. I. was a native american from the North East. Possibly Penobscot? We did some research to try and make it authentic. But finally he created his own painted tunic and designed the loin cloth. I’m afraid we ended up with a stereotypical indian. So much for cultural sensitivity.
